The Idea

The Agora aims at empowering citizens, fostering European integration, and promoting a culture of dialogue and exchange. Every year, 130 young Europeans convene in Budapest from all over the Continent to discuss with European leaders the priorities of the European agenda.

During 5 days of debates, panels, workshops, and other interactive activities, participants become an active part of a civic space of engagement, making the Agora an exercise of democracy.

Interact with leaders, experts, and practitioners

Reflect upon the most crucial challenges for Europe’s future

Improve your skills through hands-on activities and innovative formats

Meet, share stories, and build long-lasting connections with fellow Europeans

Budapest is one of the most vibrant capitals of the Continent: its rich history and strategic location make it the perfect place to exchange about our common future and shared identities.

One of our partners, The Council of Europe, hosts the event in its European Youth Centre, which contributes to our “Agora method”: participants, speakers, and organizers share the same facilities for the entire duration of the event, multiplying the opportunities and formats of interactions.
