The Idea

The Agora aims at empowering citizens to create a better future for Europe and promoting the culture of dialogue and exchange. 130 young Europeans will convene in Budapest from all over the Continent. Together with European leaders, they will discuss the priorities of the new European agenda.

From the 10th to the 14th of July,
through debates, panels, workshops, and other interactive sessions, we will create a civic space of engagement and exchange for participants: the Agora is an exercise of democracy.
Exchange with European leaders and discuss with them the priorities of the next European Legislature. Interact with experts and practitioners working in different fields to reflect upon the most crucial challenges for Europe’s future. Engage in hands-on activities to improve your skills.

Meet, share stories, and live together for five days with 130 fellow Europeans in the beautiful facilities of the European Youth Centre in Budapest. Part of the activities will take place around the city and you will also have free time to enjoy one of Europe’s most vibrant capitals!
