pursuant to art. 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 - cd. GDPR, we inform you how we will process your personal data.
The processing of your personal data will be based on principles of correctness, lawfulness and transparency and protection of your privacy and your rights and may be carried out manually or electronically or with the aid of computerized or automated tools. It may consist of any operation performed with or without the aid of automated processes such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, processing, selection, blocking, adaptation or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, communication by transmission, dissemination or any other means of making available the data, comparison, interconnection, restriction, erasure or destruction of the same.
Who is the Data Controller?
The Data Controller, i.e. the body that determines how and why your data is processed, is the Education for Europe Association, (hereinafter "EDU4EU") with headquarters in Corso Buenos Aires, 56 in Milan - in the person of the legal representative pro tempore Dr. Michele Bellini (from now on: Data Controller).

For what purpose do we process your data?
Your personal data is processed, on the basis of Art. 6, para. 1 of the GDPR, in order to carry out all the following tasks functions entrusted to the competent structures of EDU4EU; specifically, we will process your data for:
the collection of adhesions and expressions of interest in participating in training activities,
courses and initiatives organised by EDU4EU (Application);
with the consent of the interested party, to send information, communications, promotions of the activities themselves; for invitations to ceremonies and seminars.
for reporting to the Authority in case of fraudulent use of our website by

Who can we give your information to?
Your data are processed by the subjects belonging to the structures of the Body authorized by the Controller to the treatment, in relation to their functions and competences.
In addition, the Controller may communicate your personal data externally to third parties, as their activity is necessary to achieve the purposes indicated above, also in relation to the functions assigned to them by law:
Other public or private subjects or bodies to which EDU4EU entrusts services of its own competence, within the limits provided for by law, out-sourcing services to companies, and associations with which they are placed specific support and assistance agreements or arrangements in place;
There are no plans to transfer personal data to non-EU territories or to organisations international. If the need arises, you will be provided in the first instance with specific information and, if no specific information has been issued for the country of destination a decision on adequacy, or adequate guarantees of protection are not available, the consent will be required to proceed with the transfer.
Are you obliged to give us your details?
Yes, because in case of refusal, EDU4EU will not be able to proceed with the specific activities described and fulfill the purposes of this communication. It is not necessary to formally express your consent to the processing of your data as sending your application or a request for contact represents your unequivocal desire to get in touch with the Association.
How long will your data be stored for?
If your personal data are contained in the Data Controller's databases, they are stored unlimited or until your formal request for their cancellation.
What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
You have the right to:
✓ access your personal data;
✓ to obtain the rectification or cancellation of your data or the limitation of its processing;
✓ if the data is in electronic format, request its portability in current format;
✓ object to the processing;
✓ lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
You may assert your rights by contacting the Data Controller; the Data Controller is required to reply within 30 days from the date of receipt of the request, (this period may be extended up to 90 days in case of particular complexity of the request).
If you believe that the processing of data concerning you does not comply with the provisions in force or if the response to a request with which you have exercised one or more of the rights provided for in articles 15-22 of GDPR is not received within the time limits indicated or is not satisfactory, you may contact the judicial authorities or the Guarantor for the protection of personal data (in Italy - www.garanteprivacy.it)
Will I be subjected to automated decision-making?
No, you will not be subject to any decision based solely on automated processing. (including profiling), unless you have given your explicit consent.
Is my data safe?
Your data is processed in a lawful and correct manner, EDU4EU takes the appropriate measures to safety appropriate to the organisation, giving instructions to the operators and using systems monitoring to ensure security, integrity and availability; to prevent access to non authorized, disclosure, modification or destruction of data.
